Joseph M. Smith serves as the Field Service Manager at GridStor since June 2025. Prior to this role, Joseph held various senior management positions at The AES Corporation from January 2020 to May 2025, where significant achievements included the development of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) benefiting over 850 stakeholders and leading a global initiative aimed at achieving $30 million in EBITDA in 2025. Joseph also contributed to the formation of AES Clean Energy through the merger of sPower, AES Wind, and AES Distributed Energy in early 2021. Earlier experience includes roles at WillScot, SMA America Production, and Abound Solar, where Joseph's leadership in operations management and technical training initiatives yielded substantial operational improvements and industry impact.
