Robert Wulff has over three decades of work experience. Robert started their career at Griffith Hack in 1989 as a Principal. In 2008, they became the National Coordinator of CleanTech Group, and they held this position until May 2016. From 2011 to 2017, they served as the Chairman of Ambercite. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, they were also the Chairman of Aionova.

Robert Wulff obtained their High School Certificate in Physical Sciences from Balgowlah Boys High School in 1982. Robert then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, and Philosophy at the University of Sydney from 1983 to 1989, graduating with a BSc, BE, and FIPTA. In 1989, they attended the Professional Standards Board, where they obtained a degree in Patent & Trade Mark Attorney with a specialization in IP, completing their studies in 1994.
