Marisa Vilares

Marisa Vilares is an accomplished professional in water treatment and quality management, currently serving as the Global Water Treatment App & Portfolio Training Manager at GRUNDFOS since September 2023. Prior to this role, Marisa held the position of EU Application Development Manager for the Food Industry at Hach from January 2019 to August 2022, contributing to a Fortune 150 science and technology innovator. Marisa's extensive experience also includes serving as Group Quality Manager at INDAQUA, Portugal's largest private water and wastewater operator, from 1999 to 2018, where responsibilities included people development and management across cross-functional teams. Earlier roles include Laboratory Manager at LUSAGUA under AGBAR from 1996 to 1999 and a trainee at AGBAR in 1995. Marisa is currently pursuing an MBA at Universidade Fernando Pessoa and has completed the Sustainability & ESG Program at IESE Business School.
