Laurent Renaud has extensive experience in the field of information technology. Laurent'smost recent position was as Vice-President of Information Technology at Guillevin International since July 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Information Systems at Hector Larivée Inc from May 2019 to July 2020. During their time at La Presse as the General Manager of Information Technology from December 2016 to February 2019, they played a key role in modernizing IT governance and practices, implementing cloud computing and business partnerships, and optimizing business processes. Laurent also held positions at Groupe St-Hubert, where they served as Director of IT, overseeing business solutions and infrastructure, and managing the IT strategic plan and SAP BI business intelligence platform. Before that, they worked as the Director of IT at Uniboard Canada, consolidating global IT strategies and managing various projects, and as a Programmer-Analyst at Oceanex Inc. and Meloche Monnex Financial Services Inc. throughout the early parts of their career.
Laurent Renaud obtained a Certificate in Business Administration from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, graduating in 2017. Prior to that, they completed a DEC in Computer Science from Collège Bois de Boulogne, which they obtained in 1989.
