Güler Sabancı was born in Istanbul. After finishing high school education at TED Ankara College and Sabancı graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Business Administration. She has held various executive roles in the Group and currently serves as Chairman of Sabancı Holding. She is also the Founding President of Sabancı University, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Sabancı Foundation and Chair of Sakıp Sabancı Museum.
Güler Sabancı has been the first female member in many organizations such as the European Round Table for Industry. She also sits on the External Advisory Board of MIT Energy Initiative and Board of Overseers of Columbia Business School and she is also a member of The Trilateral Commission.
