Idan Brooks has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Idan currently serves as the General Counsel at HackerU since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Legal Counsel at Care Laser קר לייזר from June 2018 to June 2019. Idan also gained experience as an Associate at Yaacov Salomon, Lipschütz & Co. from 2016 to 2018, and at Jacob, Gabssi & Co. from 2013 to 2015. In addition, they volunteered as a Mentor - Legal & Business Advisor at the StarTau Tel Aviv University Entrepreneurship Center from 2012 to 2014. Idan started their career as a Lawyer at Brooks Law Firm from 2012 to 2013. Idan also has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at IDC Herzliya in various subjects from 2010 to 2013. Idan interned at the State Attorney's office from 2010 to 2011 and held a co-lecturer position in Business Law, Fundamental Law, and Criminal Law at Tel Aviv University's "Youth University" from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, they volunteered as a Chess Teacher at Children Playing Chess - C.P.C (Npo) from 2007 to 2008.

Idan Brooks pursued their education at Reichman University, where they obtained multiple degrees. From 2006 to 2010, they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree with honors, specializing in Law. Additionally, during the same period, they also completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.) degree with honors, focusing on Financing & Risk Management. Later, from 2009 to 2011, Brooks pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree, specializing in Business Law, at Reichman University.
