Miikka Ronkainen

Miikka Ronkainen is an accomplished software architect and engineer with extensive experience in the IoT domain. Currently serving as Lead Architect at Haltian since January 2022, Miikka oversees the design of software architecture, enhances system quality, and maintains backend software components. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Haltian and Polar Electro Oy, where Miikka designed technical requirements and developed backend services using various technologies, including Python, Java, and Scala. Miikka's earlier career includes significant contributions to Arm, where projects involved the Arm Pelion IoT platform and various backend services. Miikka holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Oulu.
