Susan Tyrrell

Susan Tyrrell serves as the Acting CEO and Independent Business Owner at Hands Up Communications since August 2009, where responsibilities include directing interpreting services and enhancing the quality of interactions through effective communication strategies. With a focus on supporting Sign Language and Foreign Language interpreters, Susan is committed to providing quality training and recruiting top talent for Video Remote Interpreting on both national and international scales. Prior to this role, Susan was the Director of Interpreting at get Connectivity from January 2015 to February 2018. Educational background includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Sign Language Interpretation and Translation from Iowa Western Community College, a Certificate in Legal Interpreting Studies from the University of Northern Colorado, and studies in Small Business Administration/Management at the University of Dubuque.
