Tom Carrington

Tom Carrington is an experienced Service Design Lead with a robust background in user-centred design, currently positioned at Hargreaves Lansdown since August 2018. In an interim capacity, Tom led a 40-member team, overseeing UX, UI, Content Design, and User Research. Previous roles include UX Design Lead, where Tom managed and mentored a team of Senior UX Designers, and Senior UX Designer at Kainos, where strategic direction was provided to NHS Digital projects and UX standards were established. With a strong foundation in multimedia design from Solent University, Tom's early career involved designing eLearning applications and multimedia projects. Throughout a diverse career, Tom has effectively contributed to UX transformation across various organizations, promoting collaboration and user-centred design practices.
