Mason Thomas has a diverse work experience. Mason started their career as an intern at Tri City Mental Health Services, where they assisted the staff with administrative tasks and gained experience in therapy sessions and workshop coordination. Later, they worked as a Research Team Lead at the University of La Verne, where they led a group of research assistants in conducting studies. Additionally, they served as a Teacher Assistant for Dr. Michelle Alfaro's Multicultural Psychology course, handling various responsibilities such as creating quizzes, hosting study sessions, and presenting lectures. Mason also worked as a Substitute Teacher and Head Coach at Village Christian Schools. Furthermore, Mason served as a Program Leader at After-School All-Stars before joining Claremont Graduate University as part of the Youth Development Evaluation Lab. Currently, they are working as a Program Director at Harlem Lacrosse.

Mason Thomas completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of La Verne, from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Positive Developmental Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, starting in 2020 and expected to finish in 2025.

Harlem Lacrosse

Harlem Lacrosse is a school-based non-profit organization that changes the life trajectories of youth through daily wrap-around academic support, mentoring, leadership training, college readiness career exploration, admissions counseling and lacrosse instruction. Our Program Directors maintain a daily presence in the schools and in the lives of the students we serve in order to build their confidence and activate the skill sets to help them reach their full personal potential.
