Following this, they attended Mercer University School of Medicine from 1997 to 2002, where they completed a General Surgery Residency Program. In 2002, they further specialized in Minimally Invasive Surgery through a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, completed in 2003. Lastly, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Washington from 2015 to 2017.
