John Phelan

John Phelan serves as Senior Counsel at Harris Beach PLLC since January 2015. Previously, John Phelan was the Senior Attorney Corp Counsel for the City of Yonkers from April 2012 to January 2015, where responsibilities included handling commercial litigation, real estate matters, and negotiations for the city. John Phelan also owned Phelan & Associates from September 2009 to April 2012, specializing in real estate closings, trusts and estates, and litigation, while serving as bank attorneys for Wells Fargo. Earlier in career, John Phelan practiced law at the Law Offices of John Phelan from January 2002 to September 2009. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Capital University, a Master’s degree in History from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Manhattanville College.
