William Overholt

William Overholt is a Senior Research Fellow and Senior Fellow at the Asia Center of Harvard University, where research focuses on significant public policy issues and consultancy projects impacting business and government since August 2008. Previously, Overholt served as President and Senior Fellow at the Fung Global Institute, Director at The Korea Society, and held multiple roles at RAND Corp., including Director of the Center for Asia Pacific Policy. Overholt has an extensive background in economics and strategy, having worked at Nomura, BankBoston, and Bankers Trust. With a Ph.D. in Political Science from Yale University and a BA from Harvard University, Overholt has contributed to numerous initiatives enhancing understanding and strategy regarding Asia's political and economic dynamics.
