Benjamin Zhang has solid experience in the finance and real estate industries. Benjamin began their career as a Business Development Manager at O.C.G. Capital Inc, where they specialized in hospitality investment, buy-side M&A transactions, and hotel asset management. In 2017, they joined GBC International Bank as an AVP - Commercial Relationship Officer/SBA Loan Officer, where they reviewed and evaluated small business loan applications and prepared credit analysis. Currently, Benjamin holds the position of VP - BDO/SBA Loan Officer at Harvest Small Business Finance, LLC, a commercial real estate finance company. In this role, they are involved in originating and servicing SBA loans on a nationwide basis.
Benjamin Zhang attended the Fox School of Business at Temple University from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Financial Management Services. Prior to that, they studied Civil Engineering at the University of Melbourne, but the exact dates of their enrollment are unknown. In terms of additional certifications, Benjamin obtained a Certified SBA 7(a) Loan Underwriter certification from Coleman in October 2018.

Through a strategic partnership between Medalist Partners, LP ("Medalist") and Harvest’s Senior Management Team, the company acquired a Small Business Lending Company license that allows it to originate and service loans pursuant to the Small Business Administration’s 7(a) loan program.
