Omar Jimenez

Omar Jimenez is currently a Residential Proctor at Harvey Mudd College, where responsibilities include crisis management and fostering a supportive living environment for students. Omar also serves as a Computer Science Grader/Tutor for coursework in Java and C++ and leads as President of the SALSA Mudd Latinx Affinity Group, facilitating meetings and establishing housing initiatives. Additional experience includes mentoring incoming students during the Summer Institute, engineering projects with the Mudd Amateur Rocketry Club, and participation in various roles across tech education, including as an IT Career Academy Scholar with LA-Tech.org and conducting technical interview prep with CodePath. Omar's educational background includes pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Harvey Mudd College and completion of a High School Diploma at Felicitas and Gonzalo Mendez High School.
