Weiqing Gu

Weiqing Gu is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in mathematics and machine learning. As the Chief Scientist and Founder of Dasion since May 2020, Weiqing Gu leads the development of explainable and efficient machine learning APIs tailored for various organizations, including EEG device companies. Concurrently, Weiqing Gu serves as a Professor of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College since July 1996 and as an advisor at UnifyID since June 2019. Previous experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Researcher at Intel Corporation for a brief period in 2017. Weiqing Gu holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, completed between 1989 and 1995.
