Jessica Way has extensive work experience in various roles related to human resources and campaign management. Jessica started their career as an Assistant Store Manager at Banana Republic in 2002 and later became an Executive Secretary in the Office of the New York City Public Advocate. In 2007, they worked as a Training and Development Manager at Brooklyn Industries. From 2009 to 2017, they held positions at Derek Lam International, first as a Human Resources Manager and later as the Director of Human Resources. In 2009, they also worked as a Campaign Manager for Lynn Schulman for New York City Council. In 2018, they joined Mic as the VP of People & Culture, and in 2019, they became the Senior Director of People & Culture at Hauser & Wirth.
From 1996 to 2002, Jessica Way attended the University of Kentucky and obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English.

Hauser & Wirth was founded in 1992 in Zurich by Iwan Wirth, Manuela Wirth and Ursula Hauser, who were joined in 2000 by Partner and President Marc Payot.
