Peter Mears has extensive experience in the media and advertising industry, currently serving as Chairman of Havas North America Village and Global Chief Executive Officer of Havas Media Network since April 2017. Prior to this role, Peter was Global Chief Operating Officer and President at Initiative from April 2013 to April 2017. Peter also held the position of CEO Canada at IPG Mediabrands from September 2012 to June 2013, and previously served as President of UM/Mediabrands Canada between February 2010 and September 2012. Early in the career, Peter was Director of Global Accounts at PHD Media and held various leadership positions at PHD, including Managing Partner and SVP Director of Planning, from 1994 to 2008.
