Denise A.m. Townsend

Denise A.M. Townsend, M.Sc., serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Hazen and Sawyer since September 2019, overseeing the Human Resources Department and ensuring compliance with employment regulations while managing recruitment, benefits, and employee relations. Prior to this role, Denise held multiple positions at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP from August 2011 to September 2019, including Director of Human Resources and Human Resources & Benefits Manager, where responsibilities encompassed recruitment, benefits administration, and employee counseling. Earlier experience includes serving as Human Resources Manager at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy and various roles at Philips Electronics North America and Dorne and Margolin/United Capital Corporation. Denise holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management/Labor Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology.
