HBCU Founders Initiative
Maggey Hoffmann is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in nonprofit and technology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Marketing at the HBCU Founders Initiative since August 2020, Maggey plays a vital role in promoting diversity and supporting entrepreneurs through partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Concurrently, Maggey has held the position of Senior Director of Marketing at Nex Cubed since September 2016, focusing on investment and upliftment of underrepresented founders. Additionally, Maggey manages operations at MaFe, LLC, providing marketing support to emerging technology companies. Previous experience includes roles at the Cyber Security Forum Initiative and CyberTECH, where Maggey organized events and fostered relationships in the cybersecurity ecosystem. Maggey's career began with a stint as a Marketing and Sales Coordinator at Norman Shark and an internship with Congressman Michael McCaul. Maggey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Business, and Spanish from Texas A&M University and has studied at the University of Valencia.
