Heather James, PhD, DBA, RN, CPHQ, currently serves as an Interim Executive Leader at HCT Healthcare Transformation and as an Associate Faculty instructor at Arizona State University's Edson College of Nursing and Health Science. Previously, James held the position of Division Director of Nursing and Quality Assurance at CommonSpirit Health, overseeing numerous critical areas including infection control and regulatory compliance. Earlier roles include Director of Quality, Performance Improvement, and Case Management at National Surgical Hospitals. Academic achievements include a PhD in Psychology with a focus on healthcare, a Doctor of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration, and a Master of Laws in Corporate and Healthcare Compliance, among other degrees.
