Marie Lewis Adams

Marie Lewis Adams, AICP, is an experienced transportation planning professional currently serving as Transportation Planning Project Manager at HDR since January 2021. Previously, Marie held the position of Senior Transportation Planner at Atkins from September 2018 to January 2021, where significant projects included the Texas Statewide Freight Mobility Plan and the El Paso County Thoroughfare Plan. Prior experience includes serving as Public Involvement Manager at Nancy Ledbetter & Associates, overseeing public engagement for major transportation initiatives, as well as Senior Manager at Transportation Management and Design, managing complex transportation planning projects. Marie began the career as an Assistant Planner at Shapouri & Associates and completed an internship at Kittelson & Associates, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from UCLA.
