Melissa Becker

Melissa Becker currently serves as the Environmental Sciences and Planning Business Class Lead at HDR since August 2023, and is a co-founder of AK9 Detection Services LLC since October 2022. Previous experience includes roles as Project Manager and Senior Scientist at EA Engineering, where management of projects in urban and remote Alaskan locations was undertaken, and as Senior Environmental Scientist at Kuna Engineering, focusing on contaminated site investigation and remediation. Additional positions span various roles within environmental science and management, including senior positions in organizations such as Sivuniq, SLR Consulting, Ahtna Engineering Services, and the U.S. Forest Service. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Alaska Pacific University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Science and Environmental Studies from Central Washington University.
