Ray Hopkins has extensive experience in engineering management, with a focus on new product development and quality assurance. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at HDT Global since November 2001, Ray leads a multi-functional team across mechanical, electrical, and design disciplines. Previous roles include Director of Quality/Director of Operational Excellence, overseeing quality standards in manufacturing across multiple facilities, and Six Sigma Black Belt/Senior Quality Manager, where responsibilities encompassed daily quality operations for various military product lines. With a solid foundation in project engineering, Ray has successfully managed teams and projects in defense and aerospace sectors, driving continuous improvement and profitability. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University.
