Michal Solc is an experienced project manager specializing in cyber security and project management. Currently serving as a Cyber Security Senior Project Manager at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand since July 2022, Michal oversees the transition of the Ministry of Health contract to the newly established entity. Michal has held various senior project management roles at the Ministry of Health New Zealand from March 2014 to June 2022 and at Open Polytechnic of New Zealand from March 2010 to December 2020. Additionally, Michal has significant experience in project management from previous positions at Intergen Ltd and Editel CZ. Michal holds a Master's degree in IT and Software Development from Palacký University in Olomouc.

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora leads the day-to-day running of the health system. Functions are delivered at local, district, regional and national levels. These include: - hospital and specialist services - the National Public Health Service - clinical governance - primary and community care. We also work to improve services and health outcomes. We do this in partnership with Te Aka Whai Ora - Māori Health Authority. We have united the former 20 District Health Boards, shared services agencies and Te Hiringa Hauora (Health Promotion Agency).
