Emily Sternberg has extensive legal and management experience, currently serving as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Senior Vice President of Risk Management at Heart & Stroke since October 2015. Previously, Emily held the role of Executive for the Charity and Not-for-profit Law Section at the Ontario Bar Association from May 2018 to September 2021, and worked as a lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright from 2007 to 2012. Emily earned a L.L.B/B.C.L in Law from McGill University in 2006 and completed the NFP Governance Program at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management in 2018.
