David Roberts has extensive work experience in the field of environment, health, and safety. David started their career in 1987 as a Safety Specialist at Mac Valves Inc. David then joined GE Appliances in 1988, where they served as a Safety and Environmental Engineer, responsible for EHS programs at a manufacturing facility. After that, they worked at GE Aviation in various roles, including EHS Operations Leader, Six Sigma Black Belt, Manufacturing Shop Manager, and Environment, Health, and Safety Manager. David also held positions at GE Silicones/Momentive Performance Materials and GE Aviation as a Global Environment, Health and Safety Executive and as an Environmental Health Safety Global Operations Leader, respectively. David joined GE Company in 2014 as an Environmental Health Safety Executive for the United States Midwest Region and later moved to GE Transportation as an Environment, Health & Safety Executive. Currently, they are working as the Vice President of Environment Health Safety at The Heico Companies LLC.
David Roberts received their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering from 1983 to 1987. David later pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati - College of Engineering and Applied Science. In addition, David obtained a certification in "How to Be Both Assertive and Likable" from LinkedIn in 2021.

Heico Companies is a Chicago holding company that buys under-performing or bankrupt companies to turning them around. It holds interests in businesses in a variety of industries including aerospace, steel wire products, pre-engineered metal buildings, heavy equipment, telecommunications, plastics, food production, commercial construction and material handling equipment. Michael Heisley started Heico in 1979 with one small manufacturing company. Heisley also owns a majority stake in the NBA Memphis Grizzlies.
