Seppo Perkiö has extensive experience in the ICT field, currently serving as the Head of Development at HSL Helsingin seudun liikenne since March 2017, while previously holding roles including IT Manager and Acting CIO. Seppo founded Polar Circle Quarter Horses Oy, leading the company as CEO from February 2007 to February 2023, overseeing the import of sports clothing and high-level western riding training. Prior to this, Seppo was the ICT Manager at the EK – Confederation of Finnish Industries from January 2005 to February 2017, responsible for maintaining ICT infrastructure and ensuring data security. Seppo also held the ICT Manager position at the Confederation of Finnish Industries and Employers TT, and worked in various capacities within the Ministry of Interior, City of Tampere, and Tamrock Oy, demonstrating a strong background in IT security, infrastructure management, and digital technology. Seppo's educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in electronics and digital technology from Tampere University of Technology, along with certifications in IT management.

HSL Helsingin seudun liikenne vastaa 66 prosentista Suomen joukkoliikennematkoista.
