Kassandra Mechelke

Kassandra Mechelke is an experienced professional in the field of clinical laboratory science, currently serving as Quality Assurance Manager at HematoLogics Inc. since April 2021, where responsibilities have included quality management coordination. Prior to this role, Kassandra worked at Seattle Children's from July 2019 to April 2021, focusing on pediatric oncology chromosome and FISH analysis, as well as solid tissue and tissue suspension culture. From December 2011 to July 2019, Kassandra held various positions at Genoptix, Inc., including Cytogenetic Technologist I/II, where expertise involved cytogenetic analysis for leukemia and lymphoma, and training for CG(ASCP) certification. Kassandra's academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Genetics and Cell Biology from Washington State University, completed in 2011.
