Julie Pierce has extensive work experience in the engineering and design field. Julie began their career in 1995 as an Electrical Engineer at Smith & Boucher. In 1998, they joined Henderson Engineers as a Project Manager and Lead Electrical Engineer. Over the years, Julie has held various leadership roles at Henderson Engineers, including Vice President, Director of Architectural Lighting, and Vice President of Design Team. Julie has also served as a Business Unit Leader and Senior Vice President, responsible for managing multiple engineering teams and the firm's architectural lighting design group. Julie's expertise extends across various sectors, including K-12 Education, Higher Education, Civic, Culture, Science & Technology, Recreation, and Workplace. Julie has contributed to business development efforts, connecting people with practice experts and ensuring the successful management of projects and operations. Julie is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and holds a LEED AP certification.
Julie Pierce PE, LEED AP (she/her/hers) pursued their education from 1989 to 1994 at The University of Kansas, where they completed a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Architectural Engineering.
