Benjamin Carter

Benjamin Carter serves as the Assistant Vice President for Advancement at Hendrix College since August 2024. Previously, Benjamin served in various roles at the University of Arkansas from January 2004 to September 2024, including Senior Director of Development, Senior Director of University Initiatives, Senior Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations, and Director of Development for University Libraries. During this tenure, responsibilities included strategic oversight and management of fundraising efforts, achieving significant revenue generation. Prior to the University of Arkansas, Benjamin held positions such as Director of Business Development at Utility Automation Integrators, Inc., Congressional Affairs Officer at the Farm Credit Administration, and Executive Assistant to the Administrator at the United States Department of Agriculture. Education was received from the University of Oklahoma.
