Collette McCormick has extensive work experience in the food and beverage industry. Collette started their career at Pietros Restaurant and Pizzaria in 1994, working as a Food Service Worker. Collette then moved on to Luciano's Italian Restaurant in 1996, where they continued in a similar role until 1999. In 1999, they worked at Wida's Hotel and Restaurant as a Food Service Worker until 2004. At the same time, they also worked as a Sign Language Interpreter on a freelance basis from 1995 to 2002. In 2002, Collette joined Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar as a Food Service Worker until 2005. From 2002 to 2005, they also worked as a Server/Bartender at Ruby Tuesday. In 2005, they joined Germain Arena as a Food and Beverage Sales Manager and Suites Representative until 2014. During the same period, they also served as the Food and Beverage Director at Germain Arena from 2014 to 2021. In 2012, they briefly worked as a Financial Advisor at Primerica. Currently, Collette holds the position of Vice President of Food and Beverage at Hertz Arena, a role they have been in since July 2021.

Hertz Arena

In addition to hosting Florida Everblades hockey, Southwest Florida’s premier entertainment venue offers a wide variety of choice entertainment. Since the arena opened in 1998, it has hosted NHL, NBA, USBL, and Arena football games. Starting in 2012, the arena will also be the home of the Ultimate Indoor Football League’s Florida Tarpons. Hertz Arena has also hosted more than 300 different entertainment events such as Stars on Ice, Disney On Ice, WWE wrestling, Jeff Dunham, Boston Pops and Lord of the Dance along with headline concerts including Cher, Elton John, Alan Jackson, Guns ‘N Roses, Def Leppard, Sting, Keith Urban, Eric Church, Zac Brown Band, and Toby Keith. The arena also includes Breakaway Sports Pub, a restaurant overlooking the arena bowl, catering, meeting space, luxury suites, a pro shop and two adjacent recreational ice rinks. Hertz Arena is a centrally located facility with a seating capacity of approximately 7,000 for most events. The facility is just minutes from Naples and Ft. Myers off of I-75 at Exit 123 in the growing Southwest Florida community of Estero.
