Carol Newman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the arts and corporate sectors. As a Development Associate at High Country News since July 2019, Carol has contributed to the organization’s growth. Carol's artistic pursuits as an Artist/Entrepreneur at Montage Designworks include producing artwork and offering mosaic classes and workshops. Prior positions include Executive Director at Blue Sage Center for the Arts, overseeing operations for a nonprofit arts center, and various roles at Time Warner Cable, including Senior Employee Relations Manager, where Carol managed regulatory compliance and audits. Additionally, Carol has provided operations support and business optimization as an Administrator and Sales Consultant at Cherry Creek Consulting, LLC, and coordinated virtual operations at the Society of American Mosaic Artists.
