Position Summary

This is an exciting role for a content marketer who enjoys working across departments and with customers to write informative, motivating content for an early-adopter market.

As a Content Marketing manager, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the company’s quarterly content strategy and editorial calendar. You will create content for a wide range of mediums, including the company’s website, social media, long-form editorial, blog, video, sales collateral, demand generation assets, and email marketing. This role requires a talented marketer who can balance strategic planning with tactical execution.

Essential Functions

  • Write content for third-party publications and events that drives awareness, including editorial submissions, articles, and speaking opportunities.

  • Grow subscriber base by planning, sourcing, editing, and publishing new blog content.

  • Collaborate with Marketing peers to manage the social media calendar, schedule posts, and monitor activity.

  • Create demand generation assets like white papers, eBooks, guidebooks, and customer case studies to help drive demand and meet quarterly MQL goals.

  • Work with third-party vendors to create multi-media content like GIFs, animated videos, executive interviews, and panel discussions that speak to different personas at different stages in the buyer’s journey.

  • Collaborate with Product Management to articulate the value of product releases and support better together stories with technology partners.

  • Collaborate with Sales to create enablement materials like sequences, presentations, and leave-behinds.

  • Support Customer Success with content that helps drive renewals and expansion opportunities.

  • Generate ideas to increase customer engagement.

  • Track key metrics and performance over time to demonstrate the impact of content marketing on the company’s pipeline.

  • Optimize website content considering HubSpot session analytics and SEO best practices.

  • Monitor company, product, and market trends and share these insights with peers.

  • Create a Style Guide to ensure consistency in tone among internal peers and third-party vendors.

Skills

  • Highly effective written communication skills, including editing and proofreading

  • Demonstrable project management skills and experience

  • Knowledgeable about SEO components and best practices

  • Expertise in social media platforms, especially LinkedIn

  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications

  • Able to distill technical information into a compelling message

  • Intuitive, able to predict audience preferences with an editorial mindset

  • Interested in cloud, analytics, and manufacturing technology products and trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent foreign degree

  • 3+ years of B2B content marketing experience (industrial preferred)

  • Portfolio of prior work
