Daniel Alix has extensive experience in military instruction and leadership, currently serving as a Contractor Instructor at HigherEchelon, Inc. since February 2024. Previously, Alix was a Unified Land Operations Instructor at Advanced Technology Leaders, Inc. and HigherEchelon, Inc. from November 2020 to November 2020, and from June 2016 to November 2020, respectively. Alix also held the position of Assistant Professor of Military Science and Associate Chair at Eastern Illinois University from April 2013 to June 2016, contributing to various guest lectures across multiple departments. Alix's military experience includes commanding D Company, 1-4 Infantry and Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1-4 Infantry in the US Army from December 2010 to March 2013, as well as serving as a Platoon Leader for B Company, 1-16 Infantry at Fort Riley and in Iraq from December 2006 to December 2007. Alix earned a Master’s degree in Leadership from Norwich University (2013-2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the United States Military Academy at West Point (2001-2005).
