Laura V. Yañez

Laura V. Yañez is an experienced education professional currently serving as Adjunct Faculty and Program Manager for the Transition Success Center at Highline College since September 2018. Yañez specializes in supporting first-generation, immigrant ESL students through academic advising, recruitment, and program management. Prior experience includes roles at the University of Washington, where Yañez developed programs for transfer students and collaborated on events to enhance student engagement. Additionally, Yañez has a background in project management from a previous position as Drafting Director at Sea Technology Construction Company. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Student Development Administration from Seattle University and a Health Coach certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
