Rukshani Wickrama-Arachchi

Rukshani Wickrama-Arachchi is an experienced academic currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Nebraska Wesleyan University since August 2025. Previously, Rukshani held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from August 2017 to July 2025, as well as at Eastern Illinois University between August 2015 and July 2017. Rukshani's early career includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at the Open University of Sri Lanka and Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in 2014, as well as at the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka from 2013 to 2014. Rukshani began as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Kelaniya from 2011 to 2012. Academically, Rukshani is a PhD candidate in Chemistry at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, following a Master of Science in Chemistry from Eastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka.
