Gareth is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Plant Manager at Hino Motors Manufacturing USA, Inc. Prior to this role, Gareth worked at General Motors for over 20 years, holding positions such as Plant Director, Executive Director of Global Vendor Tooling & Cost Engineering, Executive Director of Opel/Vauxhall Manufacturing Engineering, Director of Manufacturing Engineering (General Assembly), Integration Manager, and Program Manufacturing Manager. Before joining General Motors, they worked as a Production Manager at Opel/Vauxhall and as a Weld Engineer at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK LTD. Gareth started their career as a Bodyshop Engineer at Ford Motor Company.
Gareth J. completed a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Sheffield from 1984 to 1988. Gareth later pursued further education and obtained an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Bedfordshire from 1998 to 2000.
