TJ Wheeler is a seasoned reservoir engineering advisor with extensive experience in heavy oil recovery and subsurface containment. Currently a consultant at HireGenics since February 2024, TJ served in various capacities at ConocoPhillips from 1999 to retirement in 2011, including roles as Reservoir Engineering Advisor and Manager of Reservoir Engineering ESOI, where responsibilities involved overseeing the corporate reservoir engineering group. Earlier, TJ led the Heavy Oil Recovery Team and managed the Heavy Oil Technology Group, focusing on innovative technologies for heavy oil resources. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Quantum Resources Management, LLC, and developing recovery processes as a Principal Engineer at ConocoPhillips. TJ holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University and a citation in Geostatistics from the University of Alberta.
