Michael Kern, PMP, is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in medical device development and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at HistoSonics, Inc., Michael has previously held significant roles such as Senior Engineering Manager at CHF Solutions, where leadership was provided in developing advanced aquapheresis therapy systems, and as R&D Program Manager at Medtronic, focusing on technologies for early lung cancer diagnosis. With extensive experience at Medtronic across various engineering roles, Michael has demonstrated innovation in product design and cross-functional team leadership, particularly in neuromodulation and interventional pulmonology. Michael holds advanced degrees in Technology Management and Biomedical Engineering from the University of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota, respectively.
