Romuald J. Esnault

Romuald J. Esnault is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project engineering and management, currently serving as Principal Project Engineer at Hitachi Rail since May 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing multiple significant projects such as the BART CBTC Project and the PTA Tender. Prior to this role, Esnault held senior project engineering positions at Ansaldo STS from April 2015 to May 2019 and from July 2011 to December 2014, where significant contributions were made to various signaling projects, including the Kolkata East-West Metro Line. Esnault began the engineering career at CSEE Transport as a Software Engineer and further developed expertise in automation and supervision systems. Academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and dual Master's degrees in Computer Science from Paris-Sud University.
