Ioana Singureanu

Ioana Singureanu is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of expertise in healthcare information technology standards and interoperability. Currently serving as a Technical Lead for Health IT Standards and Interoperability at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since 2008, Ioana has played a pivotal role in standards development, vendor deployment solutions, and various health IT initiatives. Additionally, Ioana is an active Board Member At-Large at Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE USA) and an HL7 Fellow at Health Level Seven International, where leadership roles include chairing the Foundations and Technology Steering Division. As Chief Innovation Officer at BookZurman from 2020 to 2022, Ioana guided clients through digital transformation, leveraging extensive domain expertise. Previously, Ioana founded Eversolve LLC, a consulting practice focused on healthcare integration, and has also held various roles in technical architecture and software development. Ioana holds a Master’s in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
