Holmes Murphy
Nola Cartmill has a wealth of work experience in the legal field. Nola is currently serving as the Chief Diversity Officer and Legal Counsel at Holmes Murphy & Associates since April 2022. Prior to this, Nola worked at Belin McCormick, P.C. for a significant period of time. Nola started as an Associate Attorney in August 2009 and later became a Partner in June 2013. At Belin McCormick, Nola provided counseling on employment law compliance, drafted employee handbooks and policies, and represented clients in litigation before various courts and administrative agencies. Nola remained with Belin McCormick until April 2022 when they moved to their current role.
Nola Cartmill obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa in 2006. Nola then pursued further education and earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Harvard Law School, completing their studies in 2009.
