Garret Mier

Garret Mier currently serves as Senior Manager of Global Sourcing at Hologic, Inc., starting in April 2024. Previously, Garret held the position of Global Director of Indirect Procurement at Waters Corporation from August 2019 to July 2023, where responsibilities included leading a center-led procurement organization with a global spend exceeding $600 million and driving a Source-to-Pay transformation. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Supply Management at Medtronic from April 2011 to July 2019, overseeing an $800 million spend for the Minimally Invasive Therapies Group and managing IT spend category strategies. Garret's career also includes roles at Covidien as Director of Procure to Pay, leading a global transformation initiative, and at Thermo Fisher Scientific as Global Sourcing Manager, managing $100 million in spend across various categories. Garret holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
