Kyla Klein is an experienced Director of Engineering at Home Chef since December 2018, leading development teams that support various internal stakeholders in multiple areas. Prior to this role, Kyla served as a Senior Software Technical Lead at Home Chef, focusing on software development for packing facilities operations. At Gogo from January 2016 to November 2018, Kyla held positions as Manager of Software Development and Lead Web Application Developer, where responsibilities included streamlining customer experiences and transitioning legacy systems to modern applications. Additional experience includes managerial roles at GE Capital and Sears Holdings Corporation, where Kyla fostered team collaboration and agile practices, and earlier web development work at Edgeworks Technology, Inc. and other establishments. Kyla holds a BA in Mathematics from Northwestern University.

In 2013, we started Home Chef by partnering with a chef to design delicious, easy-to-follow recipes. Since then, our team has grown to include several chefs, and more than 700 employees across production, marketing, technology, product, design, and customer service. Last year, we delivered over 10 million meals and expanded our delivery to cover more than 97% of the U.S. population. Some days -- okay, most days -- we can't believe how quickly we've grown. But we believe that people continue to love Home Chef for the same reasons it was founded: it saves time, reduces food waste, and most importantly, brings people together for a home-cooked meal.
