Thomas Tam has extensive experience in aviation safety and quality management, currently serving as Head of Aviation Safety and Quality Manager for HAECO since April 2006. Prior roles at HAECO include QM for Global Engine Support and Component Overhaul, as well as positions in line maintenance and safety management. Prior to HAECO, Thomas worked at IN-Services Asia Limited as Quality Manager and held a Project Manager position at Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing Limited. Thomas began a career in the industry as a Technician Apprentice at HAECO from 1984 to 1988 and progressed to become Production Manager at Green Island Cement (Holdings) Limited. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Hull and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Westminster, complemented by a Diploma in Aircraft Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a management program at INSEAD.
