Jian Zhan

Jian Zhan, CFA has extensive work experience in quantitative analytics and risk management. Jian is currently employed at HOOPP as the Director with a focus on total fund and investment risk. Prior to their current role, they held positions at Manulife as a Manager in quantitative analytics and model risk management, and at Scotiabank as an Analyst in market risk measurement. Jian's work involves conducting research, performing analyses, developing models, and implementing risk management systems.

Jian Zhan, CFA, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition, they have a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematical Finance from Wuhan University. Jian Zhan obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in June 2019 and the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the GARP FRM Program in June 2017.
