Nazia Akhtar

Nazia Akhtar is an accomplished Data Science and Analytics Solutions Analyst at HOOP since November 2020, where a notable achievement includes the development of an end-to-end Churn Prediction pipeline utilizing Azure ML Studio, alongside evaluating various machine learning models such as SVM, Random Forest, ANNs, and Decision Tree Classifier. Previously, Nazia served as a Data Scientist at UBL - United Bank Limited from December 2018 to July 2020, where workflows were created using Airflow to analyze login and sign-up failures, and a Flask application was developed to enhance customer service support. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from New York University (2016-2018) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad (2010-2014), with earlier education at Aga Khan Higher Secondary School in Hunza. An early cultural experience was gained as an exchange student in the Youth Exchange and Study Program from August 2007 to June 2008, which involved attending Loretto High School.
