Paulo Domingues

Paulo Domingues is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure management and cloud economics. Currently serving as Sr Manager of I/T Infrastructure DevOps and Cloud Economics at the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) since August 2022, Paulo oversees cloud-hosted infrastructure support and cloud management costs. Prior to this role, experience includes various leadership positions at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) from May 2014 to August 2022, where responsibilities encompassed managing the Infrastructure Business Office, Cloud FinOps, and strategy development. Paulo's career began at Exxon Brasil and continued at Prognum Informática S.A., followed by a long tenure at IBM, where roles ranged from IT Specialist to Delivery Project Executive. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business, a Specialization in IT Strategic Management from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and two bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science.
