Thierry Derrmann is an experienced professional in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Lead SD AI Researcher II at Hootsuite since June 2024. Prior to this role, Thierry worked at Talkwalker from January 2018 to June 2024 as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher, specializing in large language models for insight extraction and various data classification techniques. Thierry's career commenced at SnT, Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust as a PhD Graduate Student, contributing to the Project MAMBA focused on mobility and traffic state analysis. Additionally, Thierry was a Research Associate at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik, where the focus was on accelerating mass spectrometry filtering algorithms using CUDA. Thierry holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Luxembourg and a Dipl.-Inform. in Computer Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
